Squirrel! Squirrel!

I am glad Target Field is accessible, but I think the architect went too far. On Tuesday, May 25, in the 4th inning of the game between the New York Yankees and the Minnesota Twins, a squirrel got onto the field. It appeared and sat near the left-field foul line. Then it started to walk across the field. The funniest part was when the squirrel ran toward Twins third baseman Brendan Harris. It surprised Harris, who did a little jump to get out of the way! The game was delayed for a minute because of this. I am not sure exactly where the squirrel entered the field or how it got off the field, but it is gone now! So, you never know what to expect at Target Field! Here is a video of the squirrel on the field and an article about it:

  1. Sounds like the Twins are as squirrelly as the Red Sox!

    tastes just like chicken.
