What’s in the “Target Field Access Guide”?

Is Target Field the most accessible ballpark in Major League Baseball? Well, take a look at the official “Target Field Access Guide.” Target Field has so many accessible features that it needs a 7-page guide.  Here are a few things you will find in the guide:

  • Concession Stands: All of the concession stands are accessible. And if a person needs assistance at any food service area, he or she should notify the nearest concession worker or a Guest Services staff member.
  • Drop Off Zones: Vehicles with accessible parking permits can pick up or drop off passengers along 7th Street near both the Twins Clubhouse Store or Gate 14. Parking is not allowed in these areas.
  • Electrical Outlets: Every row of accessible seating has at least one electrical outlet box.
  • First-Aid/Medical: Trained medical personnel are on duty at all Twins games to assist guests.
  • Restaurants: Both restaurants at Target Field are fully wheelchair accessible.
  • Restrooms: All of the restrooms in the ballpark are accessible. There are several single-user restrooms available at Target Field. If a more private environment is desired, the Twins direct you to ask Guest Services.
  • Service Animals: Service animals for guests with disabilities are allowed in Target Field.
  • Ticket Sales: Wheelchair seating is available at all price levels. This is a big change from the Metrodome.

There is much more information in the “Access Guide.” You can pick up your guide at any of the Guest Services booths at Target Field.
